A superhero story full of shenanigans, nemeses, and an unlikely alliance.
In the city of Tetratek, two college students with incredible powers have taken opposite paths. Cecilia Jones chose to channel her super strength into becoming the superhero known as Aikido Avenger. She’s accepted all the hardships of the job: the danger, the late nights, fighting villains. Even the paperwork was something she could grin and bear, for the sake of doing good. Meanwhile, Daniel Smith, who generates and controls a mysterious substance that he calls hypersilver, has donned the gleaming mask of supervillain Mad Mercury. He robs banks, he pulls pranks, and he revels in causing chaos.
Aikido Avenger and Mad Mercury are diametrically opposed foes. But when the schemes of a mysterious power drug cartel turn the city upside down, it threatens the life of someone both Cecilia and Daniel care about deeply: Leo, Cecilia’s best friend and Daniel’s boyfriend. To save both Leo and Tetratek, these two nemeses must, somehow, set aside their differences and work together.

Note: any coauthored work will deviate in tone, feel, content, and syntactical style from Sarah’s own writing voice, since it’s an interplay between hers and another’s. This particular novel is one she and her friend wrote together, and his voice is both wildly different from hers and very fun. You can read sample pages to determine whether it suits your tastes.
